Mrs. Char Vande Zande is the 4K teacher on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and the 2nd grade teacher every afternoon. She has been at RCS since 1995.   After college  she taught at Denver Christian School in Denver, Colorado;  Children's World Preschool in Sheldon, Iowa; and then took time off of teaching to raise their family.

 She and her husband, Pastor Cal, live in Waupun, Wisconsin,  where they serve Emmanuel Reformed Church. They have 4 grown children:  Brian, Jill, Sarah, and Laura.  Brian is a stuctural engineer in Milwaukee.  Jill is a student at Western Theological Seminary.   Sarah is attending medical school at UW-Madison.  She married Marshall Stringfield on August 2, 2008.  Laura is a junior at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, majoring in child development and familily services.

Outside of school, Mrs. Vande Zande leads a junior high youth group at Emmanuel Reformed Church.   She enjoys spending time with her family, bicycling with her husband, reading, and quilting.
