WELCOME TO 5TH GRADE!

My name is Ms. LeMahieu.  This is currently my eighth year of teaching here at Randolph Christian School in the fifth grade.  I am originally from the Grand Rapids, Michigan area and moved to Wisconsin in the summer of 2001 to begin my position here.  I first lived in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and have recently purchased a house in the town of Waupun. 

I am the youngest of three daughters to Don and Linda, also a teacher.  My eldest sister is the director of the Festival of Faith and Writing at Calvin College and my other sister is a marketing director of a retirement community near Milwaukee.  I often travel back to Michigan, making a pitstop in Milwaukee, in order to visit family and friends.  This past July, I became engaged to Doug Brey and am planning a wedding for June 20, 2009.  What an exciting time!

I spend my summers doing gardening and finding many projects to do around my house.  I am thoroughly enjoying becoming a handywoman!  I also enjoy playing the piano, playing tennis, spending time with my friends, reading, and traveling, with my most recent excursions being Hawaii and New York. 

I love being a teacher and I thank God for calling me to this vocation.  I am looking forward to being a part of the lives of more children!
